Halo: Silent Cartographer Remake - Map Room

Now that most of the interior trimsheets are done, I'm moving to a different iconic area in the Silent Cartographer: The Map Room. In this upcoming area I'm going to establish the look of my remastered Forerunner Holograms. This area is work in progress, so stay tuned!

The purpose of this project is to remaster Halo CE artwork, while remaining entirely faithful to the source material. Bungie made a classic worth revisiting.

A brutalist liminal maze lurks underneath the sandy beaches. Gargantuan chambers, tight corridors, simple forms.

Holograms in Bungie's classic are typically simple wireframes. I don't believe this was a rendering limitation. Maps in the real world are like this; abstractions of space with just enough detail to be useful. The goal is function, not flare.
